About Woodworking

The concept of selling good quality woodworking machinery, beautiful hand tools, rare and exotic timbers, great finishing materials, books and videos etc is not unique.

Adding a fully equipped workshop where you can learn basic skills or advance your existing ones is.

What is even more unique is that you can use our workshop to do your own thing if you lack the tools or a suitable place in which to indulge your passion. Naturally you would need to possess advanced skills to work unsupervised. Well, not exactly unsupervised as there is a qualified person on hand to offer advice and to ensure people work safely. As a bonus you learn to always clean up after yourself when you are done for the day! What more could you ask for?

Services.

We can machine your timber to your specifications if you do not have your own machinery. Certain timbers are banned for health reasons. Minimum charges apply and, we do not do house lots! We also offer a blade sharpening service and on-site machinery service.

Woodwork Classes.

Day and evening classes on basic furniture making as well as woodturning is on offer. We have a fully equipped workshop with all the machinery and tools one would normally expect to find, plus a whole lot more. Class sizes are small so that equipment and instruction is readily available.
